Fold the edges of the arms and crochet them together with sc. Fasten off the thread and leave a tail for attaching.
5. Ears (2 pieces)
Crochet in rows:
- Row 1: 6 sc in KA, turn and ch 1
- Row 2: inc x 6 (12)
Fold the edges and sew them together.
6. Nose
You can either crochet the nose or simply embroider it with thread.
- Row 1: 6 sc in KA (6)
- Row 2: (1 sc, inc) x 3 (9)
- Row 3: 9 sc
- Row 4: (2 sc, inc) x 3 (12)
- Row 5: (3 sc, inc) x 3 (15)
- Row 6: (4 sc, inc) x 3 (18)
Stuff the nose lightly and fasten off the thread.
7. Spines on the Head
Crochet elongated loops through each row (one row of sc, then one row of elongated stitches).

- Row 5: inc, 8 sc, inc
- Row 6: 12 sc
- Row 7: inc, 10 sc, inc
- Row 8: inc, 12 sc, inc

- Row 10: 18 sc
- Row 11: inc, 16 sc, inc
- Row 12: 20 sc
Fasten off the thread and cut it.
